- This copy book consists of astronomy problems references dates in 1820-1822. Some pages have been excised. Additions in the form of broadsheets (Just before the battle, Mother; Bonny Eloise, the belle of the Mohawk vale; Who will care for mother now?; Annie Lisle) and hand-copied lyrics of The sailor's weeping bride are pasted on the original pages. On the final pages, The mariner's dream by William Dimond has been hand-copied by the author of the cipher book. "Beatrice C. Stains" is written on the front flyleaf in pencil.
